Bahamut, King of Dragons (buh-haa-muht)
"Is it the flame you fear, or the purity it represents?"
A platinum dragon of old, once a servant to Placidusax, Bahamut ascended into godhood as a deity of good dragons, wisdom and enlightened justice. Primarily a god of dragonkin, others may flock to Bahamut's teachings as well.
After the fall of the Dragon Lord, Bahamut sought peace with the mortals who felled the kingdom of dragons. And for a time there was peace between them, where Bahamut led his brethren to the north where they could settle far from the newfound kingdoms that were sprouting up.
Bahamut was revered as an honorable and just leader in their time of need. Where dragonkin of all kinds swore fealty to him. At the time of his death, Bahamut passed from this world and ascended into the Upper Planes as the Dragon God he was meant to become. In his newfound divinity, he guides dragonkin as best he can, to dissuade the rage of the Dragonsong, and to oppose the tyranny wrought by Tiamat.
