Balthamos, the Shadow of Death (bahl-tah-moes)
"The road was long and arduous, but you have finally reached the end my friend, time for some well-earned rest."
An old god of passing. Balthamos welcomes the weak and weary with open arms into the afterlife, allowing them rest from their lives. Balthamos judges the souls and denies entry to those with wickedness in their hearts.
Born from essence of death itself in the inception of Discordia, Balthamos found himself responsible for the dead, ushering them to their final resting place. Balthamos eventually met Aphelion, The Hero of Kings , Achiel, Lady of the Forge , and Liadon, The Prismatic Crown who were determined to put a stop to the Age of Darkness. Balthamos was of a likemind and wanted to end this senseless constant death and lent his aid to them.
With the Age of Darkness conquered, Balthamos removed himself from Discordia. He simply continued his duties to mortals and usher their souls to the afterlife.
