Human
Souls and Magic
Humans, unlike all other sentient species, lack the inherant ability to gather the Soul into the whole needed to perform Magic. While others can do this at will, humans must learn to move their Souls with deliberancy and precision, gathering the fragments towards a single point. The majority of humans never learn to move their souls in this way, and thus can never perform magic. That is why the rare human who can has a special name, a Mage, and why mages are encouraged to join with the Congregatio Magorum, an organization full of wisdom, education and direction regarding human magic.Rarity of Magical Aptitude
Though most humans never become Mages, it is not uncommon for a large family to contain at least one. It is estimated upon several Dreemurr-initiated surveys and cencuses that approxamitely one out of every five male humans learn magic sometime in their lives, and one out of every eight female humans do the same.Soul Traits
Human Souls contain Traits, one each, no more and no less.Additional Information
