Matthew is tall like his father and handsome on top of it. He keeps his face clean shaven and his hair well-groomed, making him look the part of "rich heir" almost to the T.

Personal history

Matthew, being the oldest child and heir apparent to the Cross family fortune has been groomed for leadership since almost as early as his birth. With his parents devoting the brunt of their attention to him, even after his siblings were born, Matthew was in equal parts groomed and challenged. Especially his father rarely went easy on the young boy as he entered school, with good performance in all subject being not only expected, but demanded.
Despite this, his more hands-on involvement with his son's upbringing compared to his own father meant that Joel could maintain a good relationship with his son. He also encouraged his son to act as a role model for his younger siblings.
Matthew did not make many friends at school, often seeming aloof and a bit of a smartarse to others. It was only after elementary school that he finally gained more popularity, though how much of this is because of his last name is up for debate.
Currently, he is trying to finish his degree while already working in a junior position at Cross Energy Holdings.
