Ruth Cross is the oldest daughter of Joel N. Cross and Judie Cross, and a member of the Cross Family.
She is currently attending college.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Ruth is a tall girl with a lean face. Her figure is more lithe than strong, more elegant than athletic. While like her other siblings, she has inherited her father's raven black hair, her eyes are a vibrant blue colour, an unusually occurence in the family. Her glances have an almost piercing quality as a result.

Personal history

Ruth is the second-oldest child of Joel and Judie, born in 2004. Still getting used to raising children and with focus clearly on her older brother Matthew, she was given both more freedoms, but also less attention compared to him. This lead to her becoming a (by Cross standards) rather unruly child who delighted in playing pranks on the staff as a young girl.
At school, she equally struggled a lot more than her brother, barely passing in subjects like Mathmatics before private tutors were hired to aid her outside of school hours, something she absolutely despised. She did, however, she a talent for languages. Eventually, she was sent to a boarding school outside of Cape St. Joan, only returning during the holidays and permanently moving back into town when she began attending college.
As her mother tried her best to turn her into a "prim and proper" young lady, arguments between them became more and more common as Ruth entered into puberty. Even her younger siblings, who had been a tempering influence on her prior could not stop the two of them drifting apart.

Intellectual Characteristics

Hiding beneath her demure appearance lies a rebellious streak. Much like her father, Ruth rarely will take "no" for an answer. While she gets along well enough with Joel, she and Judie fight somewhat frequently.
Her spare time is often spent at a local gym where she has taken up boxing.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Though only her younger siblings are aware of it, Ruth is not Christian like most of the Cross family, but an agnostic. While in presence of her parents, she keeps 'going through the motions' to avoid further arguments.
