Dragonborn
Dragonborn are a humanoid species native to several planes across the cosmos. They first appeared on Divostra during the Age of Fables, spawned from the Dragons that preceeded them.
Basic Information
Anatomy
As their name would imply, dragonborn resemble their draconic ancestors to varying degrees. Most of the resemblance lies in the facial features as well as the scales which cover the entirety of a dragonborn's body. The diverse ethnicities of chromatic dragonborn sport vibrant scales of red, black, white, blue, or green, inheriting the coloration of their draconic ancestors. Metallic dragonborn have a more uniform appearance thanks to generations of interbreeding between the flights, with all metallic dragons grouped under the ethnicity of Si'draken. While chromatic dragonborn tend to share distinct coloration with the five flights of dragons from which they are descended, due to the chromatic dragons' isolation and mistrust of other flights, Si'draken's scales are typically brass or bronze in color, sometimes ranging to scarlet, rust, gold, or copper-green. All dragonborn are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6½ feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more.
