- The Mayor's Tower was a small fortress for the mayor and bodyguards.

- Fist of the Future, a temple to Cyric. (God of dark sun/lies trains rogues/assasins). Priest of Cyric Ammunro female dragonborn, ridged head and golden eyes, rugged blue scales.
- The Tarnished Trumpet, the best drinking spot in town that faced the Mayor's Tower. It was a noisy, raucous tavern with tapestries and battered weapons on the walls. Each table in the tavern had old treasure maps magically embedded in glass planes in the tables. Tavern owner William Cartwright. Prices wealthy. Sells map to Skull George.
- Scarlet Stag, a drinking hall. Owner Catrain Mournhell half-elf very long, straight, brown hair and brown eyes, red skin, muscular build. Prices poor.
- The Banshee at Bay, a tavern known for its baked stirge on toast, a favorite dish of Elminster's. Owner Carac Keenseeker. Human bold, average rugged look. Prices comfortable.
- Dancing Bear, a drinking hall. Owner Ellaloth Mithanmyr female wood elf very long, wavy, brown hair and brown eyes. Place for gambling. Prices modest. Perrin from smuggler's hideout owes them money.
- The Worried Wyvern, an average-quality inn located in the town of Hill's Edge. The uppermost floor comprised interconnected suites of rooms, while the ground floor had a nice dining room. The inn offered a messenger pigeon service for sending communications and errands to Iriaebor. The Worried Wyvern is perhaps best known for its food. Morning and Highsun meals often included bacon, sausage, and toasted bread with drippings, as well as a signature omelet of asparagus and spiced fish. Evening meals featured roasted meats and dishes like chicken liver with mushroom sauce or green peppers stuffed with rice, tomato, and ground meat. - Storm Griffin, an inn downtown. Owner Gluronk Skullbinder female half-orc a bald head and golden eyes, rugged green skin, muscular build. Prices wealthy
- Stone Saddle, a cheap inn. Owner Simon de Bolbec human bald head and brown eyes, black skin, missing his right hand. Prices modest.
- Six Soft Furs, a house of pleasure. Owner Rosa Glorybluff half-elf long, wavy, blond hair and brown eyes. Has 4 working girls of various looks and ages who are recruited either very young or come to work here to put food on the table.
- A Handful of Eyes, sells monsters and monster parts. Sells Bats, Flying Snakes, Poisonous Snakes, Ravens, Scorpions, Spiders, Stirges. Ghouls tongue 100 gp, Gobling ear 30 gp, Griffon feather 100 gp, Owlbear claw 150 gp. Owner gnome Kipper Loofollue.
- Lionstar Services, packs shipments for secure travel across all of Toril. Owner human Terrowin Keenseeker. Works closely with the mercenary guild.

- People closer to the downtown have heard that Storm's Griffin's innkeeper is looking for help for a reward.
- Storm Griffin's innkeeper Gluronk Skullbinder tells adventurers that he recently bought a house next door thinking of expanding his business. And the house was suspisciously cheap, but he took the deal anyway. And apparently the house seems to be haunted and he is looking if someone could help handling that for a reward.
- All innkeepers and tavern/drinking hall owners have heard rumors that Beiro Tiltathana is looking for adventurers or mercenaries for a job.
- At whichever inn the party will stay there will be a human woman Maurrie Aurmine at the table looking at them. She will approach and tell them she was robbed by a handsome man and she asks if the part could find him.
