The Citadel of Iustus

Sat upon an isolated rocky island, the Iustus citadel is the central hub of the Iustus. It houses the majority of the organisation and the grounds are used for training, experiments and all other activities that the Iustus wants to do in privacy. In 1280, the Citadel was built by the Prophatem as a base of operations. He later expanded it by building barracks and other commodities. The main structure of the citadel is a huge stone tower. It is a menacing protrusion and seems to observe the seas around the island. General Heydrich and her family were housed there. Such has been the tradition with the generals whom serve the Prophatem.
Due to its position in the north, the island is cursed with harsh, frosty weather. This would cause issues for most inhabitants but the fire slinging Iustus keep the land heated with a concentrated effort of magic. Thus although all around the island lies ice and cold, it feels like walking along a volcano to be on it.

Geography

Covered in huge, jagged and sharp grey rocks that jut unnaturally from the ground. The entire island has black sand covering the ground while the trees and vegetation that manages to survive is dark, twisted and dies rather quickly. Upon the largest jutting stone, the citadel was built. The island is home to many, many natural cave systems.
