Pirotegon (Pie-Row-Taye-Gone)

The Guardian

Pirotegon, referred to by the Holy Church as 'The Guardian' or 'Lightfather', is one of the nine Gods of Order.   He is often depicted as a shining knight clad in gleaming white armor and wielding a warhammer. He is viewed as the patron of the passage of time and thus is often worshiped around key events on the calendar. His symbols is often found decorated towns and villages and other hubs of civilization as both a petition for protection and the rule of law the hold in the wilds of the Borderlands.   In the Holy Church and a number of other faiths, he is often viewed in a patriarchal role and leader of the Gods of Order.   His typical offerings are a bundle of sticks, bound with a leather strap, that is burned at dawn.

The Southern Wilds

In the Wilds, Pirotegon is worshipped as The Speaker of Law, the creator of rules and structure. His symbol is a hammer.  

Arkoshia

Among the dragonborn, Pirotegon is called Aurix'siid (Or-ox-seed) which roughly translates into common as The Golden Hand. Aurix'siid is the first and most adorned head of Io, the World Dragon, and as such is father to the platinum dragon god, Bahamut. The symbol of Aurix'siid is a golden shield with a talon on it.  

Dwarven Faith

The Dwarves who have depicted Pirotegon as a female known as the Matron of Stone. While scholars have debated whether the Matron of Stone is a separate entity, the similarity in depiction and domain has led many to believe that the matriarchal society of the Dwarves has chosen to worship Pirotegon as if they were female. The Matron of Stone is represented by the Dwarven rune for 'Stability.'  

The Path of Udira'ja

In the far west in the land of Ciethe, Pirotegon is worshipped as a minor deity in service the Crystal of Light called Talamu'tra, the Bringer of Civilization and is one of the six aspects of Light that were left by the Goddess of Light to protect her heart and her children on this world. Talamu'tra is credited as being the aspect that raised the mortal races up from savagery and guided them with a shining azure torch to the ways of construction, city building, and industry. In Ceithe, the symbol of Pirotegon is said torch adorned with a bright blue flame.
