Jhalspawn

Jhalspawn are the (un)fortunate survivors of the Jhal Plague released on The 9th District some 75-odd years back. Warped in to pseudo-undead creatures, they're still quite capable of normal life, and have come to spread out all over Doreymos, although a majority of their population lives close to where they were first spawned. They're capable of reproduction, despite their half-life nature, and have become an officially recognized race by The 4th Embry shortly after they took power.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Regardless of their race of origination, all Jhalspawn stand at an average height, ranging from 5'4" to 6' in height. They are humanoid in shape, with two arms, two legs, a torso, and a head. Their skin is gaunt and their complexion is pale, often leading to members of the race looking a tad sickly, if elegant. Their eyes can be either gold or black, and they grow hair similarly to a human. Their hair is always a pale shade, frequently white or silver, although light blonde and grey are not unheard of either. They are lanky, with long limbs and narrow torsos, and each hand has longer fingers than normal. Their interior biology is very similar to that of a humanoid of similar size, but of special note is that Jhalspawn bones are black all the way through.

Jhalspawn reproduce near identically to humans.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Jhalspawn have access to the standard five senses; sight, touch, smell, taste, and hearing. They do not particularly excel or suffer in any of these senses.
