Fharu
Physical Description
Body Features
She has bright red scales on her belly and large orange scales on her underbelly. Her wings are a similar orange on the bottom. She has ridged, dark gray horns. She has a ridge made of large scales on her back, orange. She has bordering golden scales on the outside of these scales. She has a smattering of golden scales on the front of her snout, She also has golden veins spreading on the inside of her wings. She is the only known Fire dragon to have golden scales, bar her direct descendants (the trait tends to wear off after a few generations).
Special abilities
Draconic and Fire magic. However, unlike the other types of dragons, she can produce fire without magic using a physical process. Her fire is hot, and through years of experience she can make it more powerful with magic, concentrate it into a stream, cough up fireballs, or spray a wide blast. It is a formidable weapon.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Arguably the most greedy of the first six, she has an affinity for beautiful things.Truly the embodiment of a firey soul, she doesn't do what she's told all of the time. The most notable instance of this was when she created a half-dragon from her own magic and from the magic of a man marked by magic to be the start of a new magic line. She discovered how to tell these people apart from the others on her own, keeping the secret from her siblings. Courting the man in her draglin form while hiding her tail (and true nature), she eventually managed to make Uan Quinn, hatched from an egg she cared for. However, once he hatched, she felt his powerful magic. As the start of a new magic line is always exceptionally powerful, Quinn had this in addition to Fharu's powerful Draconic magic. She felt his potential to rival and perhaps defeat her or one of her siblings on their own, and abandoned him in his father's care. Up to that point, he had not known her true nature, but he both had a soft heart for children and was too scared of Fharu's incredible power to refuse. He raised Uan Quinn with many mishaps--he wasn't a very magical man himself, despite being marked by magic to be the start of a new line.
Eventually, this came back to bite Fharu and her siblings. Uan Quinn learned of how and why he was abandoned after visiting Dagonor, and learned even more of their hypocrisy later. He grew to hate them, and eventually was their demise--growing to be the single most powerful magic being on the continent (although the first six combined could very well defeat him).
After the massacre, she gathered what draglins she could and retreated to the First Six's first home, a cavern in the K'leppe Wastes. It used to be a beautiful place, where humanity had its birth--or so the legend says. Even the dragons weren't around before people, but she was around before it fell. Although she can't quite remember what did it or how. Her memories were tampered with some time before the massacre.
Morality & Philosophy
Like most dragons, she values power as an indicator of right and wrong. However, she is particularly prideful and won't admit to being wrong if she can help it. She holds her status as one of the first dragons over other people's heads.
