Bay of Þúl
The Bay of Þúl1 is one of the most notable landmarks of Ela'k Forest in western Dragonía.
Geography
Located on the northwestern edge of Ela'k Forest, the bay is where the river Óf drains into Klalaþan Sea in the form of Qaþúlanz Falls, one of the most sacred place of the native Útels. Vúðúk River and Þán River drain into the bay as well, though their resulting waterfalls are less spectacular and aren't nearly as significant to the Útels.
Many small island dot the Bay of Þúl, the beaches of which are often littered with ash and fragments of urns thrown down the falls by the Útels, who believe doing so will ensure a pleasant afterlife under the sea for their dead.

Fauna & Flora
The cliffs which line the bay's coast are home to huge colonies of the flightless Þe'haned Birds, known for diving into the sea in search of food and then crawling back up with the catch to feed their young. The cliff walls have numerous vertical 'trails' formed by claw marks left by generations of these birds where climbing is easiest. The þe'haned birds themselves are the main prey of Cliff Martens, mustelids which glide similarly to flying squirrels to catch the birds or their eggs.
