Áhalía
Áhalía is a Mörkel kingdom on the northeasternmost Plain of Kings, located on the coast of Narra'tonei Sea. It's bordered by the Plain of Spirits beyond Ellú River to the west, Outer-Dagtí to the south and Beikatrót to the east.
Its capital is Lúat, located at the mouth of the river.
This region is where Mörkels first reached Narra'tonei Sea in 270 a.Dr, specifically the Dagtíans (ancestors of the North-Dagtíans and South-Dagtíans). Initially it formed the northern part of the ancient kingdom of Dagtí, until it became an independent kingdom.
According to tradition, the king Harkisút II had become so disgusted by his brother Dergirit's debauchery that he confronted Dergirit and gave him two choices: govern the coastal province of Áhela without any scandals or be exiled. Dergirit chose the former, and -after sobering up- proved such a good governor that Harkisút gave the province to his brother as his own personal kingdom of Áhalía.
The first Ameders to visit the Plain of Kings made first contact with the natives in Áhalía, and the bond between Ameders and Áhalíans has generally remained strong ever since.
