Áhalíans
The Áhalíans1 are a Mörkel tribe inhabiting Áhalía on the northwestern edge of the Plain of Kings, on the coast of Narra'tonei Sea. They are related to the North-Dagtíans to the south, and like the Beikatrótans to the southeast, they are the only major ethnic group in the kingdom.
Small Áhalían communities are also found in the easternmost city-states of the Ameders on the northern coast of Dragonía.

Common Myths and Legends
Traditionally, the patron deity of the Áhalíans is Lúatar2, god of Ellú River, though his worship is now mostly limited to the capital as the veneration of the sun god Aþar has become more widespread. Twice each year, the kings of Áhalía partake in a ceremony together with the rulers of Beikatrót and Póletrót on the sacred island of Aþyrin to honour Aþar and strengthen the bond between the tree kingdoms.
Other important gods include the rain goddess Nexþei and Erkar, god of the sea. In Áhalían mythology, Erkar and Aþar cause storms at sea and calm the waves, respectively, to show off their power in hopes of winning Nexþei's affection.
Some Áhalíans have also adopted deities brought by Ameders and Yrels.
