North-Dagtíans

North-Dagtíans1 are the ruling Mörkel tribe of Outer-Dagtí on the northeastern Plain of Kings, most of whom live in and around the capital of Nexþúrot in the northern part of the country. Their main territory borders that of the Útlúks to the southwest.
They, along with the South-Dagtíans who rule Inner-Dagtí, form the main branches of the Dagtíans who began expanding their territory and conquering neighbouring tribes throughout much of the eastern Plain of Kings in the late third century a.Dr. Most of the North-Dagtían aristocracy traces its lineage back to the chief Arkút, while the ones to the south are descendants of his sister Vósena.
While the two groups have much in common in terms of language, religious practices and various customs, the northern ones are notably more influenced by the Ameders from beyond the plains to the north as well as Mörkels from around Fekai Lake on the central Plain of Kings, both of whom they trade with extensively.
