Lúrp Basses
Znagrúkic: Lúrp
Gláðic: Flaðúf
Exic: Vákk
Lúrp basses are a common sight in the Hahagak Sea and Derkniss Sea in southern Dragonía, and easily recognized by their dark purple and white scales.
The fish is an important food source for the various peoples along the Hahagak Sea, particularly Znagrúks in Hrax and Exíans in Lássordikía, along with certain tribes of Traks on the northern Dakrúzú Peninsula and Gláðs, and Gláðs living in and near the city of Pyn.
Lúrp basses are prepared in different ways depending on the region, usually salted by Znagrúks and smoked by Gláðs, while Exíans and Traks both prefer eating fresh fish or drying it for later consumption.
Coastal Traks associate the fish with the heavens, due to the white markings on a dark purple background vaguely resembling clouds in the sky.

Cultural significance
While not nearly as significant as red-footed Ortú Cormorants in Znagrúk mythology, in certain traditions the lúrp bass aids said cormorants in creating the world by bringing stones from the bottom of the primordial waters, which transformed into mountains and hills.Coastal Traks associate the fish with the heavens, due to the white markings on a dark purple background vaguely resembling clouds in the sky.
