North-Eila
North-Eila is a Mörkel kingdom on the central Plain of Kings in eastern Dragonía, northwest of Fekai Lake. It's bordered by Lelenda to the east, South-Eila to the south, East-Óltrat to the west, and the Plain of Spirits beyond the Vörlak Wall to the north.
North-Eila's capital is Örblan on the lake's northwestern shore.
Most of the tribes near Fekai Lake gradually adopted many old eilatogían religion and customs, and became ancestors of what are now simply referred to as North-Eilans, as did the Hýtens to the north to some extent, and by the sixth century a.Dr when the Yfrigían Empire to the west had begun encroaching on their territory, the two tribes united to keep the Yfrigía at bay, which lead to the foundation of modern North-Eila. The Förkans, originally from East-Óltrat, eventually joined the kingdom in exchange for protection against the Yfrigíans.
With their combined strength, and later on as the kingdom began trading with the Ameders from north of the plains, with the help of Ameder mercenaries, North-Eila managed to halt further eastward expansion of the Yfrigían Empire and became quite prosperous through trade with South-Eila and Lelenda. As trade with the Ameders became more lucrative, the three kingdoms eventually formed a league in 699 a.Dr, which became the basis for the Otra Alliance, a major power centered on Otra -capital of South-Eila- that now encompasses all the kingdoms surrounding Fekai Lake to counter the influence of Ter Volg, trading alliance of the Mörkel coastal kingdoms to the east.
