Alloyed Order
The Alloyed Order is the largest set of beliefs on the Land of Kilned Runes. The largest symbols of this faith are the Dragonrunes, the Eternal Flame, as well as god-queen Millicent and king Celestor. It's highest clerics and mages consist of devout and unwavering fanatics, its common soldiers and enforcers are those who stare malignancy and affliction in the eye unwavered, and its lowest fodder are sinners, criminals, and brigands forced to redemption; the central credo to the order's crusade. The order is an iron fist, a guiding light, and a higher power to be worshipped, all of which culminate in a religious institute and army that enforces the faith and laws of their empire.
The Alloyed Order serves simultaneously as a governing principle, a religion, and a philosophy. It is shown to be capable of integrating conflicting ideologies and practices, as demonstrated by its absorption of arcane sorcery and study in tandem with the divine. Concepts that threaten to shatter the Order entirely, such as life in death or the dragon armies of Draconia, are labelled as heresy and are violently persecuted by the Alloyed Order.
Marching brazenly into the dark, they purge monsters, demons, and any manner of external threats from the realm. Yet one must be wary, for when rumors of heresy and hidden cults emerge, the eyes of the church soon follow, and the flames of the Emperor’s wrath and judgment are not far behind. Those in the ranks of the church are wholly overtaken by unquestionable faith, and the need to purge the corruption with the blazing fire of the Emperor. In their midst, these devout often leave a trail of dead, guilty and innocent alike.
Through worship and guidance of the Eternal Flame, their people will find salvation. Their people will find light in the dark. Their people will find grace.
