Nyarlthotep

Nyarlthotep is one of the Old Ones. He is also known as The Crawling Chaos, the Stalker Among the Stars, and is a God of luck, misfortune, mischief, perversion, and deceit.
The Old Ones are the Gods that existed and ruled long before Juras Blackwood conquered the kingdoms of Draigenmore. Killed or banished, they disappeared from memories of the realms eons ago. But they have seen a resurgence after the Second Great Dragon War. With Tiamat almost destroying the realms and the Sentinels of Marduk ending their long secret existence, the existence of the old ones crept back into the realms.
Nyarlthotep is the brother of Nergal, The God of Death. He betrayed Nergal and attempted to end his existence--thus ending death, giving the followers of Nyarlthotep longer lives for him to toy with. Nergal was saved by his wife, Oizys. Nergal then defeated Nyarlthotep and took from him a piece of his godhood, a shard of his essence. This diminished Nyarlthotep's power and he became more of a demigod than god. He was forced the crawl through the chaos that swirled below the planes of the Old Ones, to stalk the stars of man, elf, dwarf, halfling, gnome, and more in order to find followers to nourish him with a modicum of the power he once had. He is powerless to strike against his brother, or even his brother's followers. Though as a Warlock patron, he searches to find to right soul to aid him in defeating his brother Nergal and regaining his power.
