Ivaruna Imperial Guard

A highly trained military branch of the Ivaruna Empire. The Guard was originally a small contingent of the most trusted men the aspiring Emperor had at hand. They were tasked with the direct protection of the Imperial Family in those days, a duty they carried until the End of the Empire.
Over time, different Divisions were added onto the Guard, including Armored Divisions when Tanks started to become a common sight on the battlefield.
It was not uncommon to see ad-hoc units of Guard tasked with unconventional missions.  For example, they may be sent to investigate attacks by monsters or bandits.  They often fill the rule of aiding law enforcement when heavier firepower is needed.
