High Priest Rhosstan Elis
Every day at noon, High Priest Rhosstan Elis stands near the beam of light that descends from the roof of the Temple. For nearly 10 years, Rhosstan has served as a priest and for 6 he has served as High Priest, overseeing all religious and cultural affairs pertaining to the Goddess of the Sun. Despite being well into his middle years, Rhosstan carries himself with both a youthful glee and an old, sage-like wisdom. He is incredibly warm and inviting. After all, anyone who has made it here is deserving of Elis' warmth in full. What reason is there for showing any coldness? Yes, even to those of the non-feathered variety.
Rhosstan prefers to not be referred to by all of his titles. "Rhosstan" is fine enough. He views himself more as a guiding light or a counselor more than a formal authority figure. If you are in need of authority, you may speak with Chieftain Eonan. When the noon sun is not high, it is quite common to find Rhosstan out on the bridge, seated beneath the statue of Elis, staring up at it with an almost unreadable expression. Some of the Acolytes mutter that Rhosstan often speaks to the statue. It seems the few minutes at noon are simply not enough for the High Priest.
