Rhovahk
Despite being below average in height for an aarakocra, Rhovahk seems to somehow manage to look down on almost everyone. There's an air of arrogance that surrounds him. Based on the five braids he possesses and the clear respect the other hunters hold for him, perhaps this arrogance was at least partially earned. Much of his confidence and standoffish behavior seems to be rooted deeply in his belief in Elis as a superior Goddess of the hunt and a strong defense (albeit warped) of Elian culture. As the son of the High Priest of Elis, Rhovahk considers himself a guardian and protector of the people, their culture, and their religion. His father has led the people religiously for years. Rhovahk has a lot to live up to.
Rhovahk's words may be biting at times, but his actions speak another story... if you are lucky enough to notice them. And while he may have an initially hostile, cold attitude towards outsiders, especially those of the non-avian variety, Rhovahk is more than willing to accept those "not of a feather" so to speak if they prove themselves willing to respect Elian culture in true. If you want to earn Rhovahk's trust and respect... earn that braid quick. Embracing Elian culture need not be for avian folk, but that's generally the way of things nowadays.
