Lakshmi
The youngest of Timur and Hamida's children, Lakshmi was always a little odd. From the moment she could speak, she began to ask questions and they were often ones that didn't quite fit someone of her age. Yet, what most viewed as delightfully odd, the shamans of the Bhediya saw a spark of something unique – a connection to the desert that not all possessed. When she was 10 years old, she was left to be raised amidst the Bhediya, more specifically Khasar, one of the Bhediya shaman. Now older, Lakshmi has turned her questions inward. She is very introspective and often prone to zoning out. Even when fully present, she seems to retain a faraway look in her eyes. Although not prone to mischief, stunts, or feats of acrobatics, she is always pleased to be included and, is arguably, her siblings' biggest fan, even if they spend much of the year apart.
As Khasar's apprentice, Lakshmi is learning the traditional tattoos of the Bhediya. Although not a shaman herself yet, she does have some status amidst the Bhediya and her tattoos and beadwork are indicative of that.
