Ignimotron

The Ignimotron (Ig-Nee-Mo-Tr-on) is a primitive train, invented in the Kingdom of Ancora. Gifted with many brilliant inventors, Ancora already has its fair share of advanced technology. Yet perhaps the shining jewel on Ancora's crown of shining achievements, is their Ignimotron.
The Ignimotron is a metal train than can consistently haul up to 10 fully loaded cars weighing up to 10 tons each for a grand total of a 100 ton haul. In order to maintain the united cohesiveness of the 50 mile plus sprawl of the Ancora Kingdom, these Ignimotrons are regularly running, day-and-night to bring both goods and passengers to the many cities within Ancora's geopolitical borders. The Ignimotron can only move at about 10 mph, yet despite this, the Ignimotron is the now preferred mode of travel, as these trains do not have to stop until they have reached their destination, or to install a new fire crystal.

Utility

The Ignimotron is used to consistently transport people and goods over almost the entirety of the Ancora Kingdom. These trains do not stop until they reach their destination and therefore are widely used for their convenience, over hauling things with horses, donkeys, and mules which all have to eventually rest along the way. Given how new the technology is, often times the Ignimotron is also sometimes boarded simply by tourist wanting to get the fully experience being on a train.

Access & Availability

The Ignimotron is currently only known and used by the people of Ancora. Being that it is a recent creation, few understand the inner machinations of the machine, nor do they understand how to replicate it.

Complexity

The Ignimotron is a fairly basic version of a train. Its main complexity is the powering of its fuel source, a large fire crystal. In each Ignimotron, there is a cylinder section that houses the crystal, and from there, exists a focal point that energy is channeled into the crystal to activate it, thus making the crystal produce fire that powers the Ignimotrons powerful motors and move the train forward. Beyond this part of the train, the rest of it is fairly simple, with levers to help the Ignimotron to stop and cool down when it is time to stop the train.

Discovery

The Ignimotron was invented by the Grave's family in Ancora around the youthful years of Alastor Graves.
