Mini Backstory

14-28 Years Old: Rain grew up as a pirate but always ended up being first mate or some other high role, but never the captain.
29-33 Years Old: Rain meets Siv and a forbidden love blossoms between a princess and a pirate.
34 Years Old: Siv and Rain have twin daughters and are happier than they have ever been, however they soon are approached by the elders of there city and are given a prophecy saying that if they aren’t allowed to grow on their own, it will bring great destruction upon the people of Ātheros, and there family would find nothing but despair. After much argument and tears the parents gave up their daughters to the elders who scattered them into different terrible places. Siv abandoned her family and together Rain and Siv kept an eye out for their children.
35-37 Years Old: After many years of searching and finding nothing, Rain and Siv decide to split up, becoming far flung pirates.
46-58 Years Old: Rain is saved from a shipwreck by Thatcher Keahorn and over time he becomes Thatcher's first mate and one of his closest confidants, he even told Thatch about Siv and his daughters.

Physical Description

A shorter human man, maybe about five nine or five ten. He has dark chocolate brown skin, dark strawberry blonde and gray dreadlocked hair, and a bushy full beard. He wears dark brown and black clothing, consisting of baggy pants, a rope belt, and an open vest, revealing his tattooed chest beneath. The tattoos on his chest are that of a parrot and Imp surrounded in a weave of waves flying in towards the center of his chest. On his left arm is a massive sleeve tattoo of a naked mermaid perched on a flying rock in the clouds, smiling roguishly out at what would be the camera. (The mermaid is an artistic version of Siv, also please artfully cover up the naughty bits.) The only weapon that he carries on his person is a large blunderbuss that he also uses as a staff.

Plot Hooks

If the party boards the Humpback on friendly terms, a man will emerge from the crowd of sailors and tell Helene and Roxanne that he is their father. He will answer any questions that they ask him and at the end of their interaction he will tell them about their mother and how she needs their help with the Ātherosian delegation that has been demanding that the plunder hands over their mother, they need to help keep her safe while they work all of this out, plus, Siv is really excited to see her daughters.
Once the Hellsing family is fully reunited, Roxanne will have the choice to either stay with them or continue with the party. (Essentially giving Eleanor an out if she wants it.)

A very jovial classic kind of pirate, he has a slightly nervous energy but makes up for it with enthusiasm. He has a deep affection for his wife Siv and is kinda like Gomez Adam’s from Wednesday, very romantic and very caring. He also has been trying to find their daughters for such a long time that he does exactly know what he’s going to do with himself when finds them.
