Ushohr

Ushohr is a lesser god of mimicry, only able to speak by mimicking the speech of others. He created the kenku when he wanted to give a group of crows and ravens sentience, and did so, though he was unable to give them the ability to speak on their own, as he himself did not have that ability. Instead, they gained the ability to perfectly mimic sounds they heard around them. For a while, the kenku worshipped Ushohr, but as he began to mistreat them and act as though they were nothing more than servants for him, they stopped worshipping him and left. To punish them, Ushohr removed their wings, cursing them to never again be able to fly.
