Alchemy, Artificery, and Armory

A shining silver tower rises above the rest of the buildings. Its domed caps shine like gold and twin arches bare a resemblance to the surrounding cogs and gears of the rest of the city. However, bringing that up will get your ability to enter revoked very quickly. This building is the main office for Alchemy, Artificery, and Armory, the corporation that makes half of the products used by the guilds in the Merchant's Slice. While machines are good enough for most Mechans, some times something non mechanically made is nice once in a while. At least, thats what the employees say.

Structure

While many claim the corporation is ran by a council, like the Draegek Trite, that isn't quite true. While a council does exist in the company that manages income, the company's decisions are actually made by a djinn by the name of Melko.

Culture

While the company is one of the more popular material providers in the Merchant's Slice, it is particular opportunistic in nature. They are willing to sell materials to anyone with enough money. Really, they are only truly obstinate about how they source their products with a lack of machine help. (DM Secret: They actually source their products via conjuration magic. The company specifically follows the letter of the law, but will constantly find loopholes to achieve what it wants. For Melko, that is quite a few things.)

Public Agenda

They don't like the lack of nature in the City of Steam, which is why they refuse the assistance of machines in their production process. This is particularly they are in conflict with the Draegek Trite.

Assets

The products that are typically used by almost every kind of artisan work or dungeoneer equipment that can be thought of. If you want it, they probably make it. Combine this with the 500 platinum worth of income they recieve monthly from their sales, they are quite wealthy.

History

Alchemy, Artifecery, and Armory was founded roughly five years after Industria's founding. When Melko the djinn arrived in the city, he began using his wealth from his former business to fund local producers of goods. This eventually combined into one guild that he runs behind the scenes. They explicitly gathered from non-mechanical sources, using magic to create materials to produce products. Effectively, all the nobles who didn't support the machines joined this company as a faction to compete with Draegek Trite. The AAA also notably has spies in other factions that provide intel to Melko, however it is unknown whether they are actually separate people or if they are all Melko using his magic of disguise.

Economical and Idealogical Rivals

The AAA know much more about how the Draegek Trite works than the Draegek Trite knows about how the AAA works.
