The Oakhold
The Oakhold has been the official residence of House Oakenhart since the fall of Burl, when Virendra was subsumed into the Teriman Realm.
The Oakhold was designed principally as a defensible castle, protecting both the nearby entrance to the great dwarven tunnels under the @Wyrmspine, and the products of the mining and quarrying that emerged from it. The small township around it became known as Suthmore
Since being adopted as the Oakenhart residence, and thus the seat of the duchy, Suthmore has undergone explosive population growth, and the castle has been extensively modified for comfort and diplomatic utility.
