Naliya Aurelius Onasis-Zar'ath
Third Princess of Dalvath
The third child of Illara Zar'ath and Aurelien Onasis-Zar'ath, named in honor of a grandmother she never met. She most certainly takes after her, though.
As the youngest child, Naliya was given a certain amount of space to carve out her own identity. She hung around her father's skirts most, developing an affection for listening to his stories and his ways greater than either of her older siblings had. As she grew, she grew bold and brave and ran out from the shadows of her parents to run and climb and-- to some surprise-- fight everything she could. By the age of ten she had an intense interest in honing her skills with a blade, studies which became self-guiding in their own way.
She shares both her parents' views on religion in that she follows Aurelien's god but keeps Illara's skepticism and rulebreaking in regards to how she practices that faith. The path she follows is her own, and it's one she's more than willing to carve on her own, if need be.
Naliya strongly believes she's capable of proving herself a worthwhile daughter to her ancestors-- both sides of them.
Now that she's of age, she's begun study at the Morninglight Academy as a member of the House Spirit of Iron.
