Sylphi Bantakith (sil-fee)
DnD: Gnomes
Before travel between planes was disturbed a few centuries ago, some Bantakith spent large portions of their lives in The Fae Realms. Over a number of generations, their bodies began to adapt to the environment and they began to exhibit an inherent attunement to natural magic. This fae-touched nature also contributes to their lifespans being longer than their cousins. These Bantakith have come to be known as Sylphi.
Those which live on Dynos now are either descended from ancestors that were in The Grand Corporeum when the traversal was blocked, or have found their way back by other means.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Sylphi have more pointed ears than their bantakith ancestors, a trait which they share with the other fae-touched species. They also have an increased awareness for magic and heightened intelligence, on average.
Behaviour
Like many fae and fae-touched beings, the Sylphi are generally whimsical and lighthearted, always finding the joy in life.
