Formation of the Maia'desh Empire

Founding

In the south of Iqari, the mountain mining town of Desh and the nearby coastal town of Maia build off of each other's success. Roughly 60 years ago, King Aiden Brahk of Maia sent his spies into Desh to instigate a coup. As far as civilians understood, Desh surrendered its sovereignty for stronger trade relations with Maia, as a single government could more efficiently run things. As such, the aptly named Maia'desh Empire was born.
