Hammers and Saws - No Fishy Business Here!
Everything presented is subject to change as the adventuring party discovers hidden secrets.
A mile into the forest is this lumberyard. It is used to store and process large quantities of wood that are used for building and fuel.
The lumberyard itself is a large, open space, with high walls to keep the wood contained. The wood is stored in piles and stacks, with different types of wood separated into different areas. The lumber is left to dry out in the sun before being processed further.
Workers are engaged in a variety of tasks. Some workers are responsible for felling trees and bringing them to the yard, while others are responsible for cutting and shaping the wood into planks, beams, and other building materials. The is then stacked and stored until it is ready to be transported to the building site.
Other tradespeople work here, such as blacksmiths who make and repair tools used in woodwork, and coopers who make barrels and casks.
