The Archheart Corellon

Corellon (a.k.a. The Archheart, Divine of Wind Fu-gin, Father of Fey)

The Archheart Corellon father of Elves and Fey (Fairies and Satyr). According to religious texts Corellon created the Elves around the same time his battle brother The Storm General Kordfashioned the Orcs. It was around this time that the two found themselves becoming board, and as if to prove their own foolishness they challenged one another to a test of skill. Each balancing an "apple" they changed the other to knock theirs off their head using their favored ranged weapon, Kord with his spear and Corellon with his Longbow. What happened next is still up for debate, both Elven and Orcish clerics will agree that Lolth, chief consort to Corellon, and Maglubiyet, chief servant of Kord, had something to do with it. But regardless their aim was off and while the apples did fall, it wasn't due to the spear or arrow.   Kord's spear unfortunately ended up striking a little below the belt and while it avoided some rather important bits Corellon would prefer not to loose, it did hit what would have been an artery on a mortal. Those Fey that found themselves bathed in the blood that gushed forth from the wound found themselves transformed and infused with Corellon's blessing and might as the first Elves.
