Verinoth
The Land of Trees
Across the vast grasslands climbing northwards, you finally see a break in the endless miles of waving stalks; Verinoth, GreenDale. The pale shades of yellow-green blades are replaced by riotously verdant shrubs that almost immediately give way to towering trees with richly dark bark. Within their shade, velvet-soft rabbits and ruby-red foxes dart in and out of sight. The branches of the oaks wave in a slight breeze, almost as if they are welcoming you to take refuge from the sun-drenched lands behind you. Even under the shadows of the trees, grasses and clovers grow green and soft.
Geography
The land beneath Verinoth's trees is mainly flat, although in some areas it is hilly, and nearest to the mountains, it is quite steep. Several streams run through its land, but they are small and hard to find in the vastness of the wood.
Natural Resources
There are trees aplenty for harvesting, but only the very foolish even attempt to cut down trees under the protection of both Fae and trolls. A great many herbs can be found within, and so long as one takes very little and not enough to kill a plant, they will remain in a good light to the residents of the forest.
Verinoth is the vast and lush forest that makes up nearly half of the Haendorian Plain's borders. It is home to the largest community of Fae in all of Eainor, and the Trolls of Clan Kidranen reside there as well as the countless other flora and fauna.
