Clan Kidranen
The Kidranen are the biggest of the Troll Clans. They reside in the vast forest of Verinoth, where they have found a safe haven in the rumors of dangers in the forest. It is easy to see when one has entered Kidranen land, for carvings can be easily be found on the trees, and there are boulders like benches that are much too large for Men.
Structure
Like all Troll Clans, Kidranen have a strong distaste for social hierarchies, but they respect their ancestors who reside in the land of the dead.
Public Agenda
Trolls that live close to the border of the forest generally try to ward off unsavory folk, but the surrounding folk scare easily, and they have turned trolls into child-eating barbarians in their minds. Trolls are quite opposite to myth; they will keep children safe through the night if it is soon to come, and they will walk the child to the edge of the forest toward home once the sun has risen.
Assets
The Forest Trolls have a sort of unsaid symbiotic relationship with the Fae of Verinoth, for the Fae make the bordering trees unwelcome to strangers, and the trolls will steer wanderers back out. Thus, the work of protecting the forest is shared between the two. Trolls carry little of value besides perhaps a fine set of carving tools for wood and rock. Other than that, trolls carry nothing but the clothes on their backs (if any)
Demography and Population
Almost all Kidranen live within Verinoth Verinoth . There are about a hundred Trolls that reside within Verinoth, and because trolls are immortal and very rarely chose to raise children, their population has changed very little for many years.
Territories
Verinoth is where most Kidranen make their home, but a few live elsewhere.
Military
Trolls hardly ever fight, but if the need arises, every troll receives a mighty sword carved from solid rock.
Religion
Kidranen believe in the gods that made Eainor, but they do not feel the need to worship them. They respect nature, and try their best to protect and conserve it.
Foreign Relations
Trolls are not exactly amiable with Fae, but the two races work together to protect Verinoth from harm.
Agriculture & Industry
Many herbs can be found within Verinoth, but trolls have little use for them besides fragrant smell.
Education
Young trolls are taught by their whole Troll Clan. Each troll gives a short lesson to the child soon after their birth, and later when the young troll comes to stay with an older troll, they will teach each other many things. for more information, read rites of passage Trolls

Some of trolls' only rules are to come to Clan Meetings, so there are no rule-makers. However, in times of great need, spirits of deceased trolls will gather a Clan Meeting and make a plan of action.
Judicial Body
Thanks to the small numbers (although they are large compared to other troll clans) of the Kidranen, they are wholly democratic like all troll clans
