The Amatrian Overview

Introduction: Amatrio is an ancient land on the East side of Earck, stretching along the Shezarbrocc Coast from the port of Slog to the Snow-top Mountains. Amatrio was once the land of the High Elves, sprinkled with great elven cities which preserved the land and people around them. After the fall of the High Elves, most of the cities were destroyed and only a few were rebuilt. Leaving Amatrio a land filled with old secrets, ruins and legends. Many years after the destruction of Amatrio's greatest cities, men and Nitts with their curious natures began to explore the ruins of the High Elves. They began discovering secrets, ancient scrolls, histories and treasures that they never would have imagined. With the help of the Dwarves, who were seeking refuge after being driven out of Grood, they rebuilt some of the ancient ruins, sea ports and towers and began to use the knowledge of the High Elves to grow in the ways of Magic, enchantment and wisdom.

Culture: Amatrio now is a place of counsel, wizardry and old knowledge. Its people are usually friendly enough, open to newcomers and trading their knowledge, help or relics for supplies, tools and materials outside their land. Many great wizards reside there, studying and learning, and maintaining peace.

Hurmo the Old is said to be the oldest and wisest man yet to live. He is 181 years old and was chosen as the ruler of Brazlefast when he was 52 due to his already great wisdom, knowledge, and kindness. He is also a great wizard.
