Sylvatic Fever
Transmission & Vectors
This elven disease is transmissible to other species and is transmitted by the bite of mosquitoes carrying the bacteria.
Symptoms
It is characterized by fever, bradycardia, headache, vomiting, intense fatigue and signs of cyanosis.
Treatment
There is no known treatment except rest, rehydratation and using medicinal herbs to limit the fever.
Prognosis
This disease have a 50% mortality rate amongst all the affected species. However, the immune system of elves living in tropical areas is particularly effective against it.
Sequela
The people who survived can develop chronic fatigue.
