Welcome back to Eberron... You all returned from a week of persuing your own interests, the results of which have been detailed below.
Downtime Activities
14 Therendor:
Rare tells her harrowing tale of her fight against the Sons of Siberys alongside her new allies, House Tarkanan. For further information, see Rare: Side Quest #1.
Glittergem began working on a sign for Tinker's Green Dragon and bought clothes from Lauri in the Bazaar (4 galifar) before spending time with Diggory Smith (now under the alias "Harrison").
Erisna and Glittergem were able to help Bodhrán Moor distribute fruit and vegetables in Malleon's Gate. Of all the street urchins they met, a kobold girl seemed the most smitten with them, but was too embarrased to introduce herself.
15 Therendor:
Erisna and Rare resume the tiefling's shield training. Nothing else of note.
16 Therendor:
Rare, Erisna, and Glittergem attend the fundraiser at Tinker's Green Dragon. There they were able to speak to Tinker, Ashe, and Bodhrán Moor. Captain Daja Brel of the Guardians of the Gate was introduced, but Keth is conspicuously absent. As a final event in the formal procedings of the fundraiser, Tinker unveiled the sign that Glittergem made for the shop. It was a beautiful sign, interlayed with beautifully crafted illusions that depicted the bar's owner with a flagon of ale and an animated green dragon that seemed to bellow real flame.
17 Therendor:
Erisna and Rare complete shield training.
Glittergem begins work on a new stage for the lounge in the Crooked Mirror.
18 Therendor:
Therin returns to the party to explain that he had recovered some explosive crossbow bolts with the help of Canon and changelings from The Tyrants. He was able to track down one of the "Dragon Blood" shipments, escorted by House Tharashk.
Rare finds a handbill published on a public notice board: "Any information that could lead to the apprehension of an Elven man carrying a double-bladed scimitar. Wanted for the death of one Meshindi Vargas, a member of the King's Swords. Any information of value must be reported to Maximillian ir'Valant at the Inquisitor's Guild"
Rare earns 75 galifar against Therin in a "high-stakes" poker game in the Crooked Mirror.
19 Therendor:
Erisna assists Donal Stone with healing at the Cathedral of the Silver Flame.
Therin practices synthesizing reagents and poisons, but requires some additional materials/ recipes before he can continue.
20 Therendor:
Rare and Erisna negotiate with the Cathedral of the Silver Flame to release the children to the care of "Tarkanan's School for Gifted Youngsters".
21 Therendor 998 YK:
Mira woke the ladies staying at the Crooked Mirror with her shouting. They soon discovered that Zae Tarkanan has the unique ability to speak with rodents, who she uses as spies for House Tarkanan. The rats informed her that Cavallah had left her hideout using a "Dimension Door". The rats, not being one of the creatures allowed access through that door, were unable to follow.
Dalakash, one of Keth's crew, burst into the room, to beg the party's assistance in saving Keth from Tyrant One. While in Dragoneyes (district) the crew had been ambushed by changelings and Keth had agreed to be kept as a prisoner if his crew was released.
Dragoneyes:
After walking to Dragoneyes, the party soon found themselves outside
Chance's while the patrons bet on a fist fight between
Rotting Bal and a half-giant. Glittergem spoke to the young changeling collecting the bets, requesting a parley with Tyrant One. Therin, spotting the other orcs from Keth's crew, chased them out into the street with Erisna and Rare in tow. The orcs were following a group of mercenary-looking creatures into the basement of a nearby building. Glacias, Rare's imp, was able to swoop into the basement before one of the creatures shut the door. He observed the two orcs being pummeled by the other creatures they were with, who turned into changelings as they began clubbing the orcs unconscious.
Rare, Therin, and Erisna were intercepted by a patrol of the Sharn Watch while they continued to pursue the orcs. Therin hid in the shadows continuing to move toward the door of the basement while the paladin and her warlock companion handled the local cops. They were practically surrounded when Erisna noticed that they were in fact changelings. They struck without warning, stabbing the two women in the street. The two fought bravely while Therin fought through the seemingly complicit crowd to reach them. Realizing that they were outmatched, most of the changelings did their best to strike a tough blow before escaping into the crowd. One of the changelings, however, was left behind and taken prisoner.
The party found each other again after Glittergem (unknowingly) arranged a hostage negotiation with The Tyrants. There, they met with
Chaela Tas who begged them to let her speak to Tyrant One on their behalf.
