Grelt Smelt

A foul smelling portly woman who works the counter at Bits & Buckets in Road's Crossing. She is a widow and has a nasty reputation for drinking and being rude to customers. There are rumors floating around that she killed her previous husband. She never had Ruthorian combat training.

Plot hooks

• It is rumored that Grelt Smelt killed her husband using a gnarly axe. In reality, he died in a woodcutting accident out in Pinewood Grove and is buried out on the edge of town near where he died. Grelt Smelt brings a flower to his grave once every week and the whole rumor was made up by a group of kids who didn't like grouchy old Grelt. She is very sensitive about the subject.
