Road's Crossing

A small village located west of Riverport. Many businesses in Riverport put up advertisements or offer branded goods in Road's Crossing to try and entice travelers who weren't originally planning on visiting the city.

Road's Crossing is mostly made up of humans and halflings, but there is an unusually large number of gnomes who call the village their home as well,

Road's Crossing is under the jurisdiction of the pekka named Atler Scourge, though the territory is owned by house Neska.

Defences

Road's Crossing has its own guard made up of mostly teenagers fresh out of their Ruthorian combat training, but its real defenses come from soldiers of house Neska.

Industry & Trade

Merchants and travelers often travel through Road's Crossing as it is located on a crossroad between multiple major areas. Shipments of minerals often come to Road's Crossing from Brikarni to be unloaded and further distributed across the empire.

• Goats: Goat raising is a popular profession in Road's Crossing, and goats are easily transported from more mountainous regions in the north. 

Geography

Road's Crossing is located in a somewhat flat portion of the Pinewood Grove, which is a boreal forest. The village isn't adjacent to any bodies of water, and rely on groundwater for drinking.

Climate

Its cold in Pinewood Grove almost all year around. Winters are harsh but summers tend to be just the right temperture.

• Trees: There is no shortage of trees to be harvested for timber in the Pinewood Grove.
