Oolmoy Rainguard, head of House Rainguard (Ool-moy rain-guard)
Oolmoy Rainguard is the portly head of House Rainguard of the Ruthorian Empire. He is a worshipper of Toroun-Mall, Lord of Excess, much to the displeasure of the Church of Erathis, who often try to discretely convince the population living under House Rainguard that he is unfit of rule. Despite this, he still respects the Church and Erathis, following the law set by the Church and depicting the Lawbearer alongside the Lord of Excess wherever he is depicted. He knows without law there can be no excess.
Oolmoy is an accomplished wizard, and he is known across the Ruthorian Empire to throw extravagant parties for nobility around Egapesh. This behavior is usually condemned by most Ruthorian noble houses and the Church of Erathis, with only lesser Ruthorian nobility usually showing up. However, a large amount of non-Ruthorian nobles are also invited and often send servants to attend the parties in their sted (as Argen's Gate is often out of the way and difficult to travel to). These nobles jump at the opportunity of doing business in the Ruthorian Empire, a power that tends to simultaneously assert their presence in foreign lands without letting any foreign presence influence its inner workings.

General Physical Condition
Dispite his short stature, Oolmoy is a commanding social presence, and has been known to perform feats of strength unfit for his physical condition. He also appears quite young, despite being older than 70.

Oolmoy's fat face and curly white mustashe make his appearance hard to forget.
Apparel & Accessories
Oolmoy wears long purple robes with golden accents, over which he wears a short golden cape. On his fingers he wears many rings inset with gemstones, and his circlet seems to never leave his head.
Specialized Equipment
Oolmoy wears a circlet with strong magical abilities. He often uses it to cast the Crown of Stars spell when in danger, making him a very formidable opponent in battle.

Intellectual Characteristics
Despite his penchant for pleasure, Oolmoy has a cunning mind. Most consider him a business mastermind, using on-the-table tactics that nobody expects to make House Rainguard one of, if not the richest Ruthorian noble house. He had also dedicated a considerable amount of his life to studying, leading to him being a skilled wizard (or what would be considered as a "skilled" wizard in the Ruthorian Empire). His pursuits into magic are for purely selfish reasons, as he enjoys being able to bend the world around himself.
Morality & Philosophy
Oolmoy is a semi-hedonist, believing that the truest way to live is in pleasure and happiness. He believes that he spreads joy among his people in Argen's Gate through art and show. Unlike a true hedonist, Oolmoy understands that his lifestyle is not sustainable for most people, so he tries to justify his high living by occasionally offering free showings of popular plays in the Candlelight Theatre, the gold for which comes from his own pockets.
