Ezmerelda d'Avenir

Ezmerelda d'Avenir, Ez for short, is the first to tutor under the legendary monster hunter, Rudolph Van Richten, back before the founding of the Hunters. Like her teacher, she is a vicious and famed monster hunter known for her spunk, tenacity, and strange personality. After tutoring under Richten, she set off on her own to make a name for herself, and for many years she has. Her name, just like Van Ricthen, has become a house hold staple among the commoners; synonymous with monster hunting. However, her life has not always been one of fame and fortune. Before meeting Rudolph, she was onset by tragedy, one that would shape her entire view on life and set her down a path of vengeance and death. Just like Rudolph, the mystical and supernatural would come for her family, killing off her entire caravan. All her friends, loved ones, and her family were all killed. She was the only one to survive that massacre, and it was all thanks to Rudolph. Since that day, their fates have been intertwined with each other. They formed a family bond with each other, and the duo walked their path together.

When the Hunters were created, Ezmerelda received a letter of invitation from Rudolph, and after some delay, joined her former master in hunting down the beasts of The Scourge. Intrigued, she would travel for Vallaki to meet up with her old master. While she had no real interest in the Hunters organization, she still helped with the slaying of beasts and monsters alike. Eventually, however, she too would disappear, along with Rudolph. Their fate, is currently unknown.
