Grand Cathedral

The seat of power for the Blood Church located in Vallaki. Located in the center of all of Vallaki, this colossal cathedral stands as a sentinel against the terrors of the world. This massive feat of engineering is home to the faithful of the Blood Church, covering nearly two square miles, with five spires stretching high into the sky like a open hand; its highest spire standing three hundred feet tall. During the day the cathedrals massive doors stand invitingly open, guarded with watchful guards perched atop its massive towers. However, as night descends, the doors close, imposing a stringent lockdown on the district.
Incense

In the Blood Church's rituals, like those of many religions, incense plays a significant role, not only infusing the atmosphere with divine scent but serving as a purifier. The Beast Incense, or Beast Repellant as it is commonly known, is a relatively expensive byproduct of these rituals. When sanctified by the Ministry of Light, it emanates a sickly sweet aroma. While this scent is easily overlooked by humans, it is profoundly repugnant to most beasts, including those created by The Scourge. Consequently, the cathedral's walls are conspicuously void of these creatures compared to other city districts.   The Beast Incense has found its way into many homes across Vallaki , serving as a deterrent for nightly prowling beasts. However, its use has caused unrest in the other districts, where altered versions of the incense sold in black markets has failed to fend off beasts, leading to a disastrous incident before the hunters could intervene. In truth, the incense's purpose is not to immobilize the beasts, merely to deter them with its offensive aroma. This means that those not employing the incense become prime targets if their neighbors do, an exploitable loophole for malevolent individuals. By simply snuffing out a neighbor's incense in the dead of night, they can expose them to beastly assaults—a nearly perfect crime that is difficult to prove.
The Celestial Nave

The Celestial Nave embraces visitors upon entry, a grand hall of unimaginable scale with vaulted ceilings towering towards infinity. Stately marble pillars bejeweled and carved to perfection stand guard in this vast space; their crowns graced by statues depicting the esteemed saints and martyrs, the silent guardians of sacred lore. The floor is a intricate mosaic that weaves stories of of bravery, each tile a testament to the faith.
Stepping foot into the nave inspires reverence in even the most faithless, the grandeur that engulfs the hall offering a humbling glimpse of the vastness of existence. Gothic architecture, with its majestic proportions, accomplish this feat; a manifestation of the infinite that leaves spectators awe-struck. Enhancing the spiritual essence of this magnificent setting is the ever-present choir. A continual cycle of hymns constantly flows from the upper balconies, their voice fueling the spiritual flames within the hearts of those who tread the hallowed floors.

Residential Quarters

Nestled within the Cathedrals vast structure lie the sanctuaries for the devoted who've committed their lives to the Blood Church. Saved strictly for the ranked members of the church, the doctors, hunters, saints, and other factions within the church; these dwellings merge functionality with spiritual symbolism. Every abode is adorned with holy symbols and sacred motifs, cultivating an atmosphere of ceaseless divine communion. The area straddles the river that splits Vallaki apart, and is the ground floor of the church.

Hall of Blood

The last of the space explorable by the public is the Hall of Blood. Located in the far back of the Cathedral is a large gilded filled with a vaulted ceiling with mosaic works of art stand proudly on display. Large windows line the walls with columns of stone weaved in between their spaces, supporting a larger balcony that runs the entirety of the rectangular room. In the very back of the room, past the rows of pews and statues that line the entry, stands a gorgeous, multitiered base decorated with gilded filigree. Resting on top is a large ten foot statue depicting the founder of the Church, Leo Dilisnya, holding out a large basin.
Here the believers of the church gather in communion and the Blood Saints and the doctors of the church minister their holy Blood through the art of Blood Ministration, a sacred profession of the church.
