Perched atop the jagged mesa known as the Red Rise , Hazlik's crimson-towered palace stands as a foreboding monument to his power and solitude. Within its imposing walls, the Darklord dwells alone, attended only by a retinue of servile constructs and magical creations of his own design. Though the palace boasts impressive audience chambers and opulent pleasure gardens, Hazlik rarely entertains guests, preferring the solitude of his isolation.
Only Hazlik's most accomplished apprentices are granted access to his presence with any regularity, their attendance a testament to their status and favor within his eyes. Those who dare to displease the Darklord find themselves swiftly dispatched, never to return from the depths of his palace.
