King Harald Hundra

Harald Hundra was the king of the Kingdom of Vacana until the year 0 when his son, Joedofe Hundra, took over.

Ealy Life

Not a lot is known about Harald's early life as a Vacanan Prince but he likely faced the same circumsatances many monarchs face in their youth. He likely had top education and probably also got taught how to be a good king by his father, King Waspachar IX. When he died, Harald inherited the throne.

Early Rule

King Harald Hundra came to the throne at a strange time in Ecothnic history. The years of peace were comming to an end with a call begining to emerge for the deposition of The Old Dynasty who had been in power over Ecoth for thousonds of years. As First Ecothnic War broke out King Hundra decided to side with the Dundell. He was a merciful king, who like many now, saw the Old Dynasty as uneccesarily ruthless and violent. Being a monarch he could not support the Dundell directly but he instead used his great wealth and influance to provide aid to the Dundellian resistance.

By the end of the conflict Harald Hundra publicly joined the Dundell and even oversaw the exile of the last remenance of the Old Dynasty. Despite this he did not take part in forming the new Dundell Govenment, instead sending his son, Joedofe Hundra as a representative.

Style of Rule

Harlad Hundra broke the stryotype of most Vacanan Kings before him in actually making an effort to improve the lives of all classes. For this he was liked by many in the middle and lower classes but not as much by his peers in the upper class. Despite their criticisms though, Harald Hundra would improve the Vacanan economy and stableise is in a time of great instability across many kingdoms in Ecoth due to the collapse of The Old Dynasty. He made an example of how a kingdom under the Dundell could prosper, given the right leader. For this Vacana was often complimented as a well ruled and managed kingdom, unlike the other corruptable imperialists it shared boarders with.

"There is no king more fair and forgiving than yours. I have no doubt that he shall be anything but mercyful and understanding."-PLOZ-19 to Joedofe Hundra
