Vercosa
Geography
The Vercosa rainforest is the predominant region, sretching from the edges of the Tesdja cliffs to the ocean, and all the way towards the edge of the marshland where Adoloto begins. A wide range of niches can be found betwixt the extremes, people living both high in the canopies and low underground in the aquifers.Landmarks
Much of this region is unexplored by those who do not devote themselves to living there entirely, and many landmarks are not yet discovered, save for a pair of islands off of the eastern coast, where Andyne has anchored the far corners of their reach in the Crucible. Splitting the rolling hills between Adoloto and Myrsin in half is a small ravine that both serves as the basis of a border between the two nations, and as a passage to Zoroc.Towns
Striata is a treetop city in the Vercosa rainforest, with a predominantly elvish civilization living in a criss crossing, winding city in the tops of the Leechwood trees. The Crucible is the city of a fled nation that pushed back the Adolotians, as a last ditch effort for their nation to survive, and is made of a melting pot of different cultures and people who have recently been incorperated into Andyne, which is gone into detail hereCulture
Striata holds host to the most secular society, which lives well within the means of the land, and has a strong policy of sustanibility and non-intervention with the outside world, though will occasionally accept foreign aid in times of crisies. The crucible has taken on the culture of Andyne as a host of military forces enter the island, though they do employ a degree of friction with their unyeilding ways.Government
Those few enough to enter Striata would describe it as a simple monarchy, where the eldest and most expirenced leads the rest of the settlement in action and conflict resoltion. The Crucible both answers to higher missives from Ranunca and the Conclave, as well as their own smaller, need based city council that meets whenever needed.Food and Art
Striatans enjoy the delicacy of Ironfang bat meat, and stews made of their wings and other sinuous parts. It is seen as an art in their community to not waste a single leaf or piece of thread, everything as limited as it is. Many of their art pieces are instead baskets that have been made out of loose leaves, and childrens clothing made of scraps of cloth and thread. The crucible enjoys a selection of foods from all walks of life and nations, not hailing one as specific as their heritage. Their art as well has no set lineage, though in recent years has taken the form of making weapons and armor. creating ornate, intriciate designs as signs of respect for those weilding them.
Religion
Striata does not have a defined religion, they worship all 5 gods equally, and an important step in deeming if a person is fit to be an adult -as most elves are arbitrarily defined as adult based on their expierence- based on their own interpretation of religion and personal trubites, holidays, and rituals.
