Fort Varrimore

Fort Varrimore was a harbor built inside a shielded cove a few hours travel south of Varrimore. The fort was established in secret prior to the outbreak of Varrimores War of Independence, during which the fort acted as a staging operation for raids on Ramunian forces nearby, among other uses.
Upon the completion of the war and Varrimores establishment as an incorporated city-state of the kingdom of Ramuni, the fort fell into disrepair and has since been largely left abandoned, only playing host to the occassional smuggler or upstart bunch of scoundrels.
