The Great Migration was a period of over 400 years where humans progressively spread through the world, eventually settling in the place seen across the world today. This migration was based out of southeast Kasetia, with those that stayed being the Chondat. The first to leave were the Tura, who sailed to the Arrow Isle and remained there since. Next, the groups that settled in the fertile plains and nestled between hills further north became the Chundans. Further west, the Mianis settled the areas south of the Seper and the Tarmian took the islands, wetlands and plains south of Faucons Quatre. At a time when the Desert of Demons cut the continent in two, the Calish and Calind ventured through and settled the safe areas to its north.

Small groups of Calish and Calinds made a dangerous crossing of the Rokall Strait onto Skortenia, becoming the Rashem and Rashmi. The last land migration was made by Chundans, who followed Skortenias western coast past the Orikste Range, becoming the Damaran and Damraz. From there, sailors found the rest of the world.

Other Calish and Calinds found the Muacacxixa Isles in the Western Ocean, becoming the Mula and Mulysia. The Eshou and Shoura took the island found in the Great Maw and Chondat exiles landed on Tila'thyu, becoming the Tethyr and Toth'ur. The last known distinct group were the Illuskans, Damaran sailors who found the northern reaches of Tila'thyu.
