West Izanagi "西イザナギ"
The capital of Kaguya's western half, Izanagi was once a whole city, connected by a vast and immaculate bridge, but after the Kaguyan Civil War, the two halves live as the seperate capitals of their nations. Western Kaguya's focus of maintaining the legitimacy of their traditions and personal culture in the face of evolving times has made it limited in cultural spread but plentiful in unique industries that have evolved out of their own culture and views.
Demographics
Most of the people to be found in West Izanagi are those of Tiefling and Elven descent, mostly Half-Elves, along with a smattering of other races, many being Humans, Orcs, or some variation of bestial races.
The vast majority of people in Western Kaguya as a whole, but especially Izanagi, are those who have been in the area their whole lives, as the country has strict immigration policies.
Government
As the countries capital, West Izanagi is overseen directly by Empress Aka Juhi "樹皮 赤 皇后" and her council of Tetsu-Jishin [鉄-侍臣].
Defences
West Izanagi is defended mostly by the nearby river along with the bordering mountains, but additionally there is a wall around the city, manned by Testu-Te and Testu Ya [鉄 矢].
Industry & Trade
While it hasn't been flooded by international markets, West Izanagi has grown to be an Omni-Market city, with industries from within the country popping up by the dozens to offer their wares.
Infrastructure
As the most developed city in West Kaguya, Izanagi is equipped with modern plumbing from before the civil war, and also maintains a mana-power grid by using hydro power assisted by some windmills as well.
Architecture
Western Izanagi Architecture has evolved slightly over the years. While still mostly keeping the standard detailed archways and circular shapes Kaguyan architecture is known for, they've also incorporated efficient angles and flat edges, resulting in many octagonal buildings in the process.
