Despite helping Lord Thewynn escape, the gang meets Rose Faendraerl again and decide she's a pretty swell gal!
The business with the pirates was going sour. The Hagtrappers had decided to give up Thewynn in exchange for the lives of everyone else there. There were some dissenting voices, however, and Coffee decided that he wanted to kill the Halfling. There was a bit of struggle back and forth while the gang decided what to do with him and that's when she made her move. Rose, after hearing all the nefarious plots, then regrets, decided to take matters into her own hands. Also, her beast shape time was up and she was spotted. Using the confusion of her random appearance, she dashed forward and ferried Thewynn away from the confused group, removing the decision for them. The gang decided that enough was enough and they left, not wanting to face the pirate's wrath or what trouble it might be to explain everything to them. Eventually they made it back to Gyndrin and found their way back to the Travellers Quarry. Inside was Rose and they got to talking. A bar fight and some guard interrogation later they were uneasy friends. Now deciding to travel together to the Grand Delta to find out what these rumors of coyotes attacking folks was all about.
